Well the 2023 RIP CURL Lennox Longboard ‘One Dayer’ went off without a hitch, the surf was 2 to 4ft with early morning showers glassing the ocean off to pristine conditions and nice waves in the early light. The offshore conditions stayed with us till late morning with the south easterly breeze kicking up around mid day.
Outstanding surfing was seen in all divisions with Jack Entwhistle in the Opens, also winning the Best Nose Ride trophy, Eleanor Mc Cready taking full control in the Ladies, David Witt a standout in the Over 40’s and the ever confident Gary Burden ( Astro Surfboards) in the Over 60’s.

awesome towels for every competitor, and the work crew, plus a whole lot of goodies for the giveaway draw
at the preso. Also to all our club members who helped out in the organising, event setup and pull down.
