June 2010 club round

The latest round of competition for Lennox Longboarders was held on the 6th of June, one week early, to allow for the upcoming All Girls Showdown to be held on the June long weekend. Lines of closeouts at Lennox beach breaks forced a rare change of venue for the club to Flat Rock, where the paddle out was easy and the shifting left and right peaks provided some very contestable 1-1.5m waves. The day was a real beauty, especially after the devastating tornado on Thursday. Our thoughts go out to all the locals affected by storm damage and wish them all a speedy return to their relaxed beach lifestyle at Lennox.
